About Zeri’s Restaurant
Mark Zerafa or Zeri (his school nick name as he is known), took to cooking and preparing food from a very early age having a maternal background of chefs. After starting work as a school leaver learning basic preparation in a top Maltese Hotel, Mark then progressed to work in and refurbishing some of Malta’s top restaurants.
He then ventured abroad for work experience in Holland and London and also travelled to other European cities to gain more experience also travelling in Thailand, Mauritius and Seychelles to gain fresh ideas on other cuisines. On returning from abroad, Mark then decided to look for a place of his own and so he opened his restaurant and Zeri’s was born, where he formulated his own ideas, menus and the use of unusual combinations of different foods.
Zeri’s Restaurant is situated in the very up market and sought after area of Portomaso with spectacular views of the open sea and the award winning marina development. With Mark being the chef patron he and his team provide consistency in excellent food, service and innovative dishes to their regular clientele, in fact their dedication has paid off immensely and in their eight years of operation they have won numerous Definitively Good Guide awards for being one of the top Maltese restaurants. The restaurant provides a relaxing and tranquil ambience to satisfy ones needs.
The restaurant also provides gluten free meals and vegetarian dishes on request (preferably notify on booking).
